LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon Area Widows Fellowship will meet on Monday, Jan. 5, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, School Street. The gathering will begin at 11:30 a.m. for fellowship, followed by a potluck lunch. All interested widows in the area are invited.

Irish set dancing

LEWISTON – New Irish set dancing classes will begin Monday, Jan. 12, at the Holy Family Parish Building (room 109) in the 600 block of Sabattus Street.

Those interested, teens to senior, are invited to watch a class or try it at no cost. Subsequent classes are $3 a week. No dance experience is necessary. Classes are held from 7 to 9 p.m. every Monday.

Bridge winners

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Dec. 23 were as follows: first, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; second, Pete Cummings and Dick Allen; third, Patricia Garcia and David Lock.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Multi-Purpose Center and at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Schooner Estates in Auburn.

A partner is guaranteed and all bridge players are welcome. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all bridge games. No game will be played on New Year’s Eve.
