BRIDGTON – The Bridgton Art Guild has announced that applications for the July 19, 2008, Art in the Park will be mailed by Thursday, Nov. 15.

For the past three years, spaces have filled quickly. For those who did not participate last year, applications may be picked up after Nov. 15 at Gallery 302, Main Street, or call the gallery at 647-2787) to have one mailed.

This year, past exhibitors will be able to reserve their last year’s space by mailing their application and entry fee before Feb. 1. The entry fee of $30 will then increase to $45, and remaining spaces will be assigned on a “first come-first served” basis.

All participants in Art-in the Park must be members of Bridgton Art Guild. The 2008 dues may be paid with the entry fee.

Each year the guild has a contest for the Art-in-the-Park image to be used on T-shirts, posters and publicity. The theme this year is “On the Water.” Entries will hang in the gallery during February and must be submitted to Gallery 302 by Jan. 29.
