Grange program

GREENE – Members of Androscoggin Pomona Grange will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Androscoggin Grange for a 6:30 p.m. supper followed by a business meeting at 7:30. The program will be presented by the Youth and Junior Committees. There will be an attendance drawing and a 50/50 raffle. All members and guests are welcome.

Bridge winners

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met on July 24 at the Multi-Purpose Center. Winners in Flight A were: first, Richard Balian and Lucille Theriault; second, Leslie Buzzell and Nancy Lindgren; third, David Lock and Martine Begert; fourth, Mary Leahey and Patricia Quinn.

Flight B winners were Charles Bartlett and Larry Fortier. Another game will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, at the center.

The club also met on July 25 at Schooner Estates in Auburn. Winners were: first, Mike and Pat Quinn; second, Les Buzzell and John Hackett; third, Richard Balian and Marta Clements.

Another game will be played at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Schooner Estates. A partner is guaranteed at both games. For a partner or more information, call Lucille Theriault at 783-0431.
