“Absolute Beginner Computer (PC)”: Tuesday/Thursday, July 10 to 26, from 9 to 11 a.m. A slow-paced look at personal computers for individuals with little or no experience. Cost $30/35 plus lab fee.
“Algebra I”: Monday/Wednesday, June 20 to July 30, from 8 a.m. to noon. Join the group to build skills solving problems that apply to everyday life and work. Cost $40/45 plus text.
“Anatomy and Physiology”: Tuesdays, June 5 to Aug. 21, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The class is designed for the student who is looking to strengthen his/her knowledge prior to taking anatomy at the college level. Cost $40/45 plus lab fee and text.
“Basic Keyboarding”: Monday/Wednesday, June 20 to Aug. 13, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Discover proper keyboarding techniques and skills to improve productivity and accuracy for all computer applications. Cost is $30/35 plus lab fee.
“Chemistry”: Tuesday/Thursday, June 21 to July 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Explore the structure of elements and their interaction in the lab-based course. Cost $40/45 plus lab fee and text.
“College Transitions Program”: Tuesday or Wednesday, June 26 to Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A free program designed to help prepare for, be accepted by and do well in college.
GED preparation and testing: Daytime and evening options are available. A free program to help individuals prepare for and meet their goal of earning a General Educational Development certificate.
“Geometry”: Tuesday/Thursday, from June 21 to July 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Gain experience solving problems with geometric figures, lines and angles. Cost $40/45 plus text.
“Historic Tea Party”: Saturday, June 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A visit to Willowbrook Museum in Newfield. Transportation included. Open to children age 8 to 12 accompanied by a paying adult. Cost is $25 a person.
“Medical Terminology”: Tuesday/Thursday, June 21 to Aug. 14, from 9 a.m. to noon. The comprehensive course will give an overview of medical terms in preparation for billing and coding or anatomy. Cost is $50/55 plus lab fee and text.
“MS Word”: Monday/Wednesday, June 20 to Aug. 13, from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Instruction will focus on the proper formatting of business and personal correspondences, reports and other documents. Cost is $30/35 plus lab fee.
“MS Excel I”: Tuesday/Thursday, June 21 to July 12, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Learn skills for creating, managing, saving and retrieving spreadsheets with ease and accuracy. Cost is $40/45 plus lab fee.
“Office Practice”: Tuesday/Thursday, June 21 to Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. to noon. Gain new or enhance current skills in areas such as filing, mailing, scheduling and use of general office equipment. Cost is $45/50 plus lab fee and texts.
“Physics”: Monday/Wednesday, June 20 to July 30, 8 a.m. to noon. A lab-based conceptual study of the principals of physical science. Cost $40/45 plus lab fee.
