WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Historical Society Museum, Main Street, Bryant Pond, will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays, beginning in June. It features local memorabilia and decorative arts.

On the first floor are Woodstock artifacts, furniture, glass and China, textiles and old photos. The research library includes the papers of the late historian, Ruby Emery.

The second floor boasts an art gallery, country furniture, farm machinery, tools and small collectibles. The old South Woodstock Post Office and a wooden casket from an undertaker are also there. A crib and collection of toys are also on display.

At the society’s May meeting, Paul and Vicki Billings recounted their trip to the Catskills. They visited the Baseball Hall of Fame, lighthouses and the Vanderbilt Mansion on the Hudson. Members decided to start fundraising. Vice President Annella Burnham chaired the meeting.
