This is my first year trying out for Math team. Math team is a club in the school that students can attend after school, to do something after school. A lot of students don’t do anything after school.

Math team meets take place at different schools. Usually that school will provide snacks for the students who go to that meet. That is another reason why I like Math team because you get snacks every time you go to meets. But that’s not the only reason why I like Math team. I like Math team because I love math. Yes, I know a lot of students don’t like math because it is hard for some people. With me, it is different. I mean math can be hard at some times, but after I get help, I understand it.

Within the Math meets, there are series of tests about different topics for that meet. I think there are six or seven tests that we take. From just the sound of that you might think those tests are really long. But, truly, they are not very long. They are actually really short. There are only three questions on a test and those questions are for multiple answers.

Overall, I like math team. It is something for me to do after school. Well, until sports come back up again. But, for now, I will be doing a lot of Math!
