LEWISTON – The Senior College “Food for Thought” luncheon program series at USM/Lewiston-Auburn at noon Friday, May 11, will feature a program, “Afghanistan, Then and Now,” presented by Henry and Shirley Hamilton.

The Hamiltons have shared careers in international humanitarian aid and development, working and living in a dozen countries. Their presentation will compare Afghanistan before and after a quarter century of civil war.

The program will be held in Function Room 170 at USM/L-A. The cost, which includes lunch, is $6 with advance reservation or $8 at the door, opening at 11:30 a.m. Reservations should be made by noon Thursday, May 10, by phone at 753-6510 or online at usm.maine.edu/lac.
