Church to present musical Easter drama
FARMINGTON – A widow and her crippled son find hope through the Messiah in the original musical drama, “A Light in the Darkness,” to be presented at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday, April 7, 8 and 9, by the New Hope Baptist Church, 268 Perham St.
The cast and choir have been preparing since the beginning of January to make it a special production. An elaborate, authentic Bible-time set and costuming, a variety of musical selections and a moving story make up the Easter program.
The cast includes Buzz Bridges, Josh Bridges, Shyla Bridges, Theresa Bridges, Charlotte Randall, Kirk Doyle, Harold Field, Sue Jones, Elizabeth Rebert, Jonathan Rebert, Sandi Rebert and Isaac Wildrick.
Adult choir members include Shyla Bridges, Tom Charles, Denica Decker, JoAnn Doyle, Kirk Doyle, John Jones, Sue Jones, Chris Phillips, Charlotte Randall, Brian Rebert, Elizabeth Rebert, Jonathan Rebert, Sandi Rebert, John Trabucchi, Heidi Wildrick, Max Yates and Kim Yates.
Children’s choir members are Caleb Bridges, Cherish Bridges, Destiny Decker, Haven Doyle, Lydia Doyle, Abby Howell, Megan Howell, Kamrin Yates, Keirra Yates, Madison Yates and Marissa Yates.
