FARMINGTON – During February, the Old South First Congregational Church will conduct a bottle drive to benefit the final stages of the kitchen remodeling project.
Returnable bottles, cans and plastic containers can be left at Ron’s Market, corner of High Street and Franklin Avenue. Indicate that the returnables are for Old South Church. Returnables may also be left at the Holman Parish House, 227 Main St., next door to the church.
Pick-up of returnables can be arranged by calling 778-5948 or 778-3598. Donations for the kitchen remodeling project can be sent to the Old South Church, 227 Main St., Farmington, ME 04938.
The kitchen hosts a free community luncheon the second Saturday each month from fall to spring. All are invited.
Rummage sale
RANGELEY – A two-day rummage sale will be held in the Episcopal Church Undercroft, Main Street, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, and from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 10.
During the last half hour of the sale on Saturday, shoppers may fill a bag, which will be supplied, for $1. Proceeds will benefit community outreach.
