TOGUS – A Christmas party was held for veterans at the VA Center recently.
The Silver Tones of Lewiston, directed by Paul Farrell, traveled to Togus to provide entertainment. Two of the entertainers, Gilberte Farrell and Aliette Couturier, brought out wooden dolls and made them dance while they sang tunes. During that time, wooden spoons were also played.
Also taking part in the program were members of the American Legion Post 153 of New Auburn and the Central Maine Detachment, Marine Corps League. A buffet was served for veterans and guests.
