LEWISTON – The Lewiston Public Library will host a holiday children’s sing-along, featuring Jake Paris and Beth Almquist singing familiar holiday favorites from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20.
A booklet with lyrics will be provided. Afterward hot cocoa will be served. Participants are encouraged to bring their own fresh baked cookies to share. The program is free, but will require tickets, which can be obtained by contacting the children’s department at 784-0135, ext. 4.
Almquist conducts story times at the library. She is also mother of three boys and teaches music at Maine Classical Christian School in Freeport.
Paris, a multi-instrumentalist, has been playing guitar for 13 years. He teaches music lessons to children in the Lewiston area. His style is playful and participatory.
