Tree for holidays
RUMFORD – The Rumford United Methodist Church was decorated for the Christmas season with garlands, wreaths and a Christmas tree. After the rest of the decorations had been taken down, it was decided to keep the small tree in place and rename it the “Holiday Tree.”
Now it has red valentines and hearts on its branches to represent “Love.” Anyone who attends church is asked to make and bring a heart for the tree with a Bible verse to represent love.
