HEBRON – Mary Louque will be installed as the new postmaster of Hebron at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Hebron Town Office, 351 Paris Road.

The oath of office will be administered by Randy Michaud, manager, post office operations, U.S. Postal Service, District of Maine.

The new postmaster began her career 26 years ago as a substitute rural carrier in Harrison. Since that time, she has also served as a clerk in Harrison, Portland and Oxford post offices.

Louque, as postmaster, will be responsible for three other employees handling the mail for 332 post office boxholders and 354 possible rural deliveries.

The new postmaster said her personal goal for the Hebron office is to provide prompt, courteous, reliable service to all members of the community.
