FARMINGTON – The Farmington Area Alumni Association will hold its annual meeting and banquet on Saturday, Aug. 13, at Mt. Blue High School. The event will begin with a social hour at 4 p.m. and the meal at 6.

The class of 1955, the 50-year class, will receive special recognition. Recognition will also be given to the class of 1945 (60 years); the class of 1965 (40 years); and the class of 1980 (25 years).

An alumni dance is also being planned. It will be held after the meeting and banquet at the American Legion Post 25.

This year the association will hold its fifth annual golf tournament to raise money for college scholarships for Mt. Blue High School graduates.

Those planning to attend are reminded that the social hour will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, not from 1 to 6 p.m. as stated in the alumni letters that were already sent.
