NORWAY – The Norway Summer Festival will be held on July 7 to 10 on Main Street. Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas to help make the festival a success. There are many opportunities to help, before and during the festival, and opportunities for all ages. Volunteers will receive a festival T-shirt.

Volunteer opportunities include the following: Sidewalk Art Show, Saturday, July 9, for artist helpers, assist with booth set-up, clean-up; runners, move artwork between artists’ booths and judging area

Promotion needs people to distribute flyers, posters and festival tabloids, sign posters for parking, port-a-potties and food vendors; photographers to take photos for next year’s publicity; and a videographer to take video footage to be run on community television.

Other volunteers needed include information table helpers to provide maps, sell T-shirts and ornaments, Main Street exhibit helpers before the festival to help fill storefronts with historical photos and art; and lecture helpers to provide and/or serve refreshments at lectures on June 30 and July 7.
