EAST DIXFIELD – A family country dance will be held from 9 to 11 p.m. Friday, June 24, with music by the Crosbys. Bing and Nancy Crosby, country musicians from Jay, will play old-time favorites. The public is welcome.

The dance is free and for the whole family and will be held at the new Countryfolk covered outdoor dance hall. Donations will support the Countryfolk Youth Music Scholarships.

The dance will follow the weekly Countryfolk Music Theatre Friday night jam session from 6 to 9 p.m. All local country music musicians are invited to join in.

Women’s meeting

WILTON – Western Mountain Women’s Connection will hold a luncheon from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at the Boiler Room, Main Street. A presentation on sun protection will be given by Agatha Kimball, Mary Kay director. Carol Martin of New York will share her journey from “Darkness into Light.”
