Study halls are a time teachers give students to catch up on school work, to get ahead on school work, or to read. So what are you to do when there is no work left for you and you try to read, but you just can’t get it in you to stay focused? Well all the teachers at our school would say get ahead on your writings. I don’t always like to do that even though that’s one of the best ideas. Sometimes I like to doodle, I don’t think it’s absolutely horrible to draw unless you have something you haven’t done yet. I also sometimes go on the Internet and search something appropriate that interests you. I like to research countries or family history.

With searching your family’s last name you can learn about some people with the same last as you, or if you’re lucky you might find out something about your own family. You could learn something new that you aren’t learning in school like the presidents. Study hall is not just a time to stare off in space, there is always something to do, even if you don’t have any work.
