Each year since 9/11, 2001, Lewiston Middle School has made a tradition of Fill the boot. Team 82 students carry a firefighter’s boot to collect money. The money this year goes to Camp Kieve, a place where survivors of 9/11 can go for a free week to meet people that are going through what they are going through.

This year we have collected $350 and have received a matching donation from student council, making a $700 donation to the camp.

Students involved in the collection and pictured above are: Jama Ahmed, Liz Agular, Tucker Beaudoin, Katie Foss, Samantha Hopkins, Holly Lavorgna, Melissa Lebel, Rebecca Lessard, Kaylyn Levasseur, Jana MacIssac, Sara Marden, Brittany Martin, Abdi Osman, Coby Poussard, Spencer Roy, Kaltlyn Tart. Also involvled in the collection was teacher Sue Reny.
