WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sen. Susan Collins has hired Monmouth resident Erin Harker to complete a fall internship in her Washington, D.C., office. Harker, a recent graduate of Dartmouth College, will work in the senator’s office through Dec. 31.

Harker graduated from Dartmouth with a bachelor of arts degree in environmental studies in June.

She eventually plans to work in the field of environmental policy and hopes that this internship with Collins will provide her with a strong policy background and exposure to the Congressional process.

Harker is a graduate of Monmouth Academy and is the daughter of Christine Chamberlain of Monmouth and John Harker of Mount Vernon.
