LEWISTON – “Gracefully Yours” is a calendar project for charity that women from the New England area have put together.

The proceeds have and will continue to benefit various charities such as the American Heart Society, Children and Adolescents Behavioral Units and the Abused Women’s Advocacy Program.

The calendar represents women 45 or older of inspiration and courage – women who have had experiences that have altered their lives. It tells of tragedies, joys and successes.

It makes the statement that women of any age still just want to have fun, that they are not all washed up because they have matured to a certain age. Mature women can still be of value to society and have much to contribute.

The people involved in the calendar production have not received compensation from the sales. The venture was successful in its first year (2004).
