POLAND – The winners of the annual Bruce M. Whittier Scholarship were recently announced, with two Poland Regional High School seniors each receiving a $1,000 award.

Emily Moser, daughter of Alison Moser of Poland and Matthew Moser of New Gloucester, is one of the recipients. Moser will attend Davidson College in the fall.

The other scholarship winner is Margaret McClellan, daughter of Michelle and Michael McClellan of Raymond. McClellan will attend Gordon College.

The scholarship is available annually to high school seniors graduating from Poland Regional High School on an application basis.

The sixth annual Bruce M. Whittier Golf Tournament will be held on Sept. 6. All proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund.
