LOVELL – An American Sign Language class will be offered at Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library from 10 to 11:30 a.m. starting Thursday, July 10, and lasting for six weeks.

The class will be taught by Ruth P. Moore who is a sign language instructor. She has taught sign language at American International College in Springfield, Mass., and University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She has taught sign language during the spring semester at Smith College in Northampton, Mass., since 1990.

Classes are for adults and young adults age 16 and up. Applications are available at the library. For more informantion, call 925-3177.
