FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Children’s Task Force will hold its annual walk-a-thon fundraiser, “Make Tracks for Kids,” and invites everyone in the community to take part.

Form a team of colleagues, family members and friends and meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at UMF’s Mantor Green, across from Olsen Student Center, for a walk through downtown Farmington in support of the Franklin County Children’s Task Force.

UMF’s North Dining Hall will be used in case of rain. All proceeds from the walk will provide direct support to programs that help children and families in Franklin County, including Growing Healthy Families, parent education and playgroups and bullying prevention.
