HINCKLEY – Tiffany’s Scrap Shack will scrapbook for 12 hours on Saturday, Nov. 1. Proceeds will benefit art programs at the Good Will-Hinckley Homes for Boys and Girls.

Open mike

PORTLAND – Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance will present “Drink, Art and Open Mike” at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at Local 188.

The featured reader will be writer Joyce Pye, author of “Ireland’s Musical Instrument Makers” and recipient of more than 40 awards for fiction and poetry. Open mike readings will follow; sign-up starts at 6:30.
