LOVELL – Several artists will convene Saturday for the 33rd annual Arts and Artisans Fair to benefit the town’s library.

The fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the New Suncook School. Admission and parking are free, and the event will benefit the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library.

“It’s a private library, and a significant amount of their income comes from this event,” said Al St. Germain, whose wife is a volunteer and part-time worker at the library.

St. Germain said between 60 and 65 vendors will be at the fair. Wares will include paintings, pottery, jewelry, weaving and glass sculpture.

Funds for the library will come from space rented by vendors and a percentage of their sales. Homemade sandwiches, desserts, and other refreshments will also be available, and proceeds from their sale benefit the library as well.

The event coincides with the library’s annual used book sale.

Ten artists have donated prizes for a raffle, and the drawing will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets may be purchased at the library or fair.
