CANTON – A 70-year-old Yarmouth man was hurt when his motorcycle went off a curve on Canton Point Road about 4 p.m. Monday.

Dean Milligan, director of Med-Care Ambulance, said the man was confused and didn’t recall the crash. Milligan said a medical emergency may have contributed to the motorcycle leaving the road and skidding to a stop on the sandy shoulder.

The man was taken to Rumford Hospital by ambulance.

Lt. Hart Daley of the Oxford County Sheriff’s Department investigated. Further information was unavailable late Monday night.
