DIXFIELD – Fund-raising requests from middle school students and more work on the 2004-05 school budget will be topics at the SAD 21 directors meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 1, in the library at Dirigo High School.

Seventh-graders seek permission from the School Board to conduct a bottle drive on April 17, while eighth-graders want to wash cars on May 8 (rain date May 22).

Directors are also expected to sign warrants for the pending Peru School-SAD 21 merger after Peru residents overwhelmingly voted last week to join SAD 21.

Other topics include a video presentation on the “Everyday Math” program, budget work on staffing needs, an update on ninth-grade laptop computers, and for the 2004-05 school year, a suspension report and a job sharing request.

A closed-door session is scheduled to discuss ongoing Cancardix negotiations.
