BETHEL – The Bethel Airport Authority will host a fall foliage fly-in at the Bethel Regional Airport from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, rain or shine. Admission is free.

It will include an aircraft and car show, an Federal Aviation Administration seminar on weather, powered parachutes, model jets and a noontime fly-by featuring a naval P-3 Orion patrol squadron.

The Fire Department will host a cookout from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The airport is on North Road, just off of Route 2 east of Bethel.

There is plenty of parking available for both aircraft and cars, organizers said.
