Corey Bouchard, 13, tunes up his guitar for his group’s debut performance Friday night at Teen Open Mike at the Auburn Public Library.

Bouchard and fellow Auburn Middle School seventh-grader Kadin Lawrence, 12, make up the group Lack of Gravity. They played one cover song and one original song in front of about 75 other teens and their friends and relatives. The open mike event takes place every third week at the library.
