LEWISTON – Telemarketers for the Lewiston Police Athletic League are scheduled to begin calling residents of Lewiston and Auburn looking for financial help.

It’s part of the group’s annual fundraiser, according to Andy D’Eramo, director of Lewiston Auburn 911. The group supports youth organizations and activities in Androscoggin County.

Telemarketers from All Pro Productions Inc. will be touting a February hockey game between the Lewiston PAL ALL-Stars and The All Pro Bruins Legends.

“We just want to let people know that we’ll be calling, and that the calls are legitimate,” D’Eramo said.
