The youngsters from the L’Ecole Francaise du Maine, a French immersion school in Freeport, performed in a play dressed in late-1700s costumes at the monthly gathering La Rencontre where people gather for a meal and entertainment. The event was attended by local city officials and a group of dignitaries from France and Quebec.
