PERU – A woman whose car was passed by a Med-Care ambulance moments before the ambulance collided with a tractor-trailer last weekend has come forward to police, Captain James P. Miclon of the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday.
The accident injured the ambulance driver and passenger and spilled paper products onto Route 108. Snow covered the roads at the time of the 5:48 p.m. Sunday accident. The ambulance had been traveling with flashing lights.
Miclon said his investigation into the crash should wrap up in the next week.
