LISBON — An unattended pan of cooking oil on a stove was blamed for a mobile home fire at 21 Town and Country Drive at noon Wednesday.

Fire Chief P. Sean Galipeau said the fire was reported at 12:25 p.m. and was brought under control at 12:33 p.m. He estimated damage to the kitchen stove, cabinets, range hood and vent and vinyl siding at between $3,000 and $4,000, but the home was still habitable.

The home, owned and occupied by Constance Hart, was insured, Galipeau said. Hart was not injured. Lisbon and Lisbon Falls fire companies responded.
