BRUNSWICK — The Midcoast Humane Society will be holding a painting fundraiser and celebrating their first annual “Shelter-bration,” with all proceeds going to benefit the animals at the shelter.
Crop Fur Critters: From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at 190 Pleasant St., Brunswick. Join crafters Deb Meservier and Sharon Brown for a day of crafting, a 50/50 and other raffles all day. Snacks and lunch provided. Registration is $30 per person. Email dmeservier@midcoasthumane.org for a registration form.
First annual Shelter-bration: From 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Maine Maritime Museum, 243 Washington St., Bath. Midcoast Humane will look back on the past year saving lives (2,800 and counting), share delicious food, wine and beer, play fun games, and share some plans for the future of the shelter.
