NORWAY – Timothy Claude Williams, 56, passed away on Jan. 8, 2019, surrounded by his wife, children and siblings in the comfort of Stephen’s Memorial Hospital in Norway, Maine. He was born Oct. 5, 1962, in Augsburg, Germany, the son of Charlie and Alice Williams of Buckfield. He graduated from Buckfield High School in 1980. Tim is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, DeeDee Williams; his seven children, Holly Bosse and husband, Tina Clark and husband, Heather Pulkkinen and husband, Lyndsay Denison and husband, Timmy Williams Jr.,  Christopher Williams and Jonah Williams and significant other; also 14 grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Wetherall, Alison Newton and Lori Thibodeau; and brother, Chuck Williams. Tim was employed as an oil burner technician for Dead River Company for nearly 12 years.

Tim is remembered for his love of sports, coaching, fishing and hunting. But what Tim is most known for by anyone who knew him was his endless generosity. He would give his last dollar, his last bite or the shirt off his back without thinking twice. He once brought a single mother, her two children and their dog into his home in the middle of the night when their furnace died in the winter and he wasn’t able to fix it immediately. That was just who he was. He always attended his kids’ games and in more recent years could almost always be seen in the stands or behind the back stop supporting his grandchildren. It was rare to find him without one of his two dogs on his lap or by his side. He loved playing music, making people laugh, and he always did his best to uplift those around him by radiating love and positivity. He showed his love by playing pranks and cooking food for anyone who stopped even if you weren’t hungry. Tim left an impact on so many people, and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at the Buckfield High School on Sunday, January 13, from 1-3 p.m.
