Senior league cribbage results
LEWISTON — Cribbage results for the Lewiston Senior Cribbage League for the week of Feb. 20 are: First, Gene Brown and Connie Pleau; second, Bert Cloutier and Gloria Johnson; third, Bob Oliver and Alan Treworgy; fourth, Aaron Burke and Dorina Martin; and fifth, Sandra Oliver and Roger St. Pierre.
The league plays at 9 a.m. Thursdays at the Lewiston Armory, 60 Central Ave. Players are encouraged to go early for practice play. Ddoors open at 8 a.m. For more information, call Roger Labbe at 207-212-9253.
Bridge club individual game results
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club results of the individual game at the Lewiston Armory on Feb. 25 were as follow: first, David Lock; second, Roger Labbe; third, Jeanine Kivus; and fourth, Marta Clements. Boxing Academy sponsors clothing drive
LEWISTON — CUGNO Boxing Academy is sponsoring a clothing drive taking place from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at the Colisee, 190 Birch St., Lewiston. All sizes (including maternity) of gently used clean or new clothing will be accepted. Jackets, shoes and boots will also be accepted. New underwear, socks, diapers and Depends for the elderly are also needed. These items are planned to be given to the following: Conors Closet, Geiger School, Salvation Army, St. Andres and New Beginnings. Note that there may be other non-profits that receive the items that are not listed. New towels and wash cloths may also be dropped off at that time for a program through the Salvation Army to aid the homeless.
