LEWISTON — An evening of hot licks and smooth renditions of selections from many musical styles is in store this Saturday, Nov. 27, at Little Dan’s BBQ. Beginning at 8:30 p.m., prominent local musicians will come together for an improvised collaboration.

Playing will be Denny Breau, known for his mastery of the guitar and vocals, and Lindsey Montana, who will bring his unique jamband style to bear on organ and electric piano. The band’s rhythm section will consist of vocalist Frank Coffin on bass and Brian Hodgman on drums, both active with many local artists, including Malinda Liberty and Rick Graham.

Although Breau, Hodgman, Coffin and Montana have played together in various combinations, this will be the first time all four share the stage as a quartet.

There is no cover charge. Little Dan’s is at 757 Main St.
