RANGELEY — A Rangeley man faces drug charges after police investigated the theft of narcotic pills from a local residence.
Josh Woodward, 30, was arrested on Tuesday on felony charges of two counts of theft of a schedule W drug and two counts of violating conditions of release, Rangeley police Chief Dennis Leahy said Thursday.
A family member of Woodward’s reported the theft on Nov. 26.
The narcotics were taken on Nov. 18, Leahy said.
Officer Jared Austin investigated the case and interviewed Woodward on Tuesday at the Police Station.
He confessed to stealing the drugs, Leahy said.
