Children’s area

RANGELEY — The Snodeo Hands-On Children’s Activity Area, sponsored by the Wilhelm Reich Museum’s Discovery Room, will not be at the clubhouse this year. It will be hosted by Dominique and Charles Goude at the Rangeley Inn from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, as part of Rangeley’s Snodeo.

There will be a Jump and Slide, an astronomy program, tye-dye shirts, a microscope, stethoscopes, prism, magnet and hook games and static tubes and all kinds of things from the museum’s discovery room.

Community meal

RANGELEY — A Ladies/Community Breakfast will be from 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at BMC Diner, Richardson Street. All are invited.

Chowder luncheon

FARMINGTON — The Fairbanks Union Church will hold a fish chowder luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21. Menu will include chowder, biscuit, pickles, cheese, dessert and beverage. For local delivery (within five miles of the church) call the church, 778-4705. The donation is $6.
