WILTON — A reception to provide an opportunity to thank town police Chief Dennis Brown for his work will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 11, at the Calzolaio Pasta Co.

The reception is hosted by the Wilton Group and the Calzolaio Pasta Co. The public is welcome to attend and greet Brown and his wife, Amanda.

Brown’s last day with the Wilton Police Department is Monday. He has accepted a position as director of Public Safety in Folly, S.C.
