LEWISTON — Geiger, a family-owned promotional products distributor, has appointed Jeff DePalma as vice president of enterprise sales. Cal Thomas: Time to start doing interviews
Let’s see if CNN interviewer Dana Bash will try to redeem the media’s credibility after its love fest for Kamala Harris by asking tough questions. Curious voters want to know.
Tim McCloskey: Libby ‘out of touch,’ vote for Campbell
There are some real doozies among the legislative proposals submitted by Auburn’s Rep. Laurel Libby. She wanted to allow bail commissioners to carry guns into jails and prisons. Anyone who has ever been “inside” knows how dangerous this could be. Ask any guard at the county lockup if it’s a good idea, and one might […]
Tom Fallon: Missing signs reflect the times
On Aug. 23 I placed a sign on my front lawn supporting Democrats Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to lead our American government. The next morning I went to the mailbox, and the Harris-Walz sign was gone. I checked the surrounding area and grasses up and down the street, and I did not find the […]
Michael Polk: Damien would listen to, fight for, House District 88 residents
As a resident of New Auburn, I am proud to cast my vote for Stefanie Mahr Damien for House District 88 this November. I know Stefanie and her husband well, and feel strongly about her ability to continue to build on the legislative successes we’ve seen over the past two years. Stefanie is kind, generous, […]
Crystal Ward: ‘Peggy Rotundo is my personal representative’
Lewiston has the great opportunity to reelect Peggy Rotundo as its state senator on Nov. 5. She is a caring, hardworking, knowledgeable, responsive, passionate, supportive advocate for education and the retired. Peggy Rotundo is my personal representative. I have contacted her many times on several issues both local and statewide, and she always has listened, […]
Cal Thomas: Kamala Harris: A blank slate
She can’t escape her record, though the major media is doing their best to cover it up. Harris is a San Francisco liberal whose policies on taxes, abortion, crime, and other social issues might shock the general public.
Scott Currie: A vote for Sheats is a vote for Maine
I’m writing to support Bettyann Sheats for Senate. Bettyann has demonstrated commitment to respect and represent all of her constituents. She supports Maine’s Marriage Equality Law and is running as a Clean Election candidate. Republicans would like to eliminate both of these Maine traditions. People’s vote for Bettyann for Senate on Nov. 5 would be […]
