Cal Thomas: Lying with a straight face
More than 90 days after being tasked to stem the record flow of migrants into the U.S., (Vice President Kamala) Harris finally went to the southern border, falsely claiming, “We’ve made progress.” She visited El Paso, Texas, while the real problem is in the Rio Grande Valley. Collins purposely ignores the history of voter suppression in this country: Poll taxes, bogus literacy tests, […]

But I’d argue, contrary to what conservatives seem to feel, that’s not because of bullying professors shouting left-wing dogma. Rather, it’s because once you learn how to think, you’re less susceptible to thin reasoning and easy answers. And increasingly, that’s all conservatism’s got.
Cal Thomas: President Biden’s dangerous game with Iran
I’ve asked this question before of other administrations. Why would anyone, regarded by Iran’s leaders as secular infidels, think they can negotiate with religious fanatics who want them dead, and their country destroyed? How can anyone negotiate with those who want to rule and dominate the world?
