His farewell concert was scheduled for today but because of the coronaviurs pandemic the concert was cancelled and his friends and colleagues decided to honor him with a final farewell salute.
Sarah Gillespie, who lives in the neighborhood, and a member of the Maine Music Society Corale, decided to ride her bicycle instead of driving her car as a parade of vehicles made their way down College Street in Lewiston Sunday afternoon to honor longtime Maine Music Society Artistic Director John Corrie. His farewell concert was scheduled for today but because of the coronaviurs pandemic the concert was cancelled and his friends and colleagues decided to honor him with a final farewell salute.
