Webb's Market owner Susan Bergeron holds her 2-year-old granddaughter, Avi Laurie, while running the downtown Lewiston store on Thursday. "Making customers wear masks is going to be difficult," said Bergeron, who added that many of her customers lack the resources to own masks. Bergeron said that probably seven out of ten customers will have not have even heard about Gov. Janet Mills' executive order mandating face masks in public. "The only way I could make customers wear masks is if I give them away." "How can I afford to do that. But, I'm going to have to do that if I want to stay open," said Bergeron. Randy Saucier, left, said he comes to the market daily. "Safety, safety. I'm healthy and that's the way I want it to be," said Saucier, who does not mind wearing a mask.
