Several Durham municipal seats up for grabs in town election

The town is seeking nomination papers for positions on Select Board, Budget Committee and RSU 5 Board of Directors.

A local group will host the gathering Jan. 19 in the AYS building in Livermore Falls.

Money will come from the American Rescue Plan Act allotment to the county.

The new Livermore Falls Fire Rescue chief, Mike Booker, will handle both departments separately.

The 41-year-old is wanted on charges of felony domestic violence.
