Trevor Sanborn wins Boss Hogg 150 at Wiscasset Speedway

The driver from East Parsonsfield dominates the second half of the race for his third win in his last six events.

Drivers must protect themselves, because there is no relief from a positive coronavirus test and no cushion for missing a race in the playoffs.

Five former winners are entered in Sunday’s race, along with Oxford 250 winners Johnny Clark and Curtis Gerry.

One year after a stroke, the racer from Hollis competes in two Street Stock features prior to the Oxford 250.

Johnny Clark captures his first 250 title.

Clark, of Hallowell, takes the victory in an event he first entered in 1997, holding off another longtime contender – Jeff Taylor.

Jeff Taylor’s hard charge came up short. Joey Doiron, Dave Farrington Jr. and Mike Hopkins round out the top five.

The 47th running of the big race is Sunday. Will history be made?
