Farmington selectmen approve Town Meeting warrant as written

Lack of contractors, supplies make it unlikely roadwork will be completed this year.

The town meeting had to be postponed after the board voted to revisit sections of the proposed 2022 budget before approving the warrant articles.

Officials will review the mandate after the annual town meeting.

A request from Safe Voices for $10,000 from Farmington ARPA funds was tabled earlier in the meeting as only three selectmen were present.

The changes would add a definition, table of uses, and performance standards for homeless shelters, some of which were asked to be changed.

The annual Town Meeting has been postponed to April 25.

The proposed 2022 budget is $1.65 million more than the current budget.
