Smoker dies in Westbrook fire

WESTBROOK, Maine (AP) — A man has died in an apartment fire in Westbrook. Fire officials say it appears that the man had been smoking while using an oxygen tank. The victim’s name has not been released. The fire damaged the building, displacing other residents. Copyright 2011 The Associated Press.
