Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the service that provides food to those who are homebound has increased from 800 to 1,100 central Maine households that regularly receive meals.

This time last year the program was producing 800 frozen meals a day. The need for food in the pandemic has pushed that number to 1,800.
Community Credit Union donates to Meals on Wheels program
LEWISTON – Community Credit Union has presented $500 to SeniorsPlus, the Aging and Disability Resource Center for Western Maine. SeniorsPlus provides services to older adults, adults with disabilities and their families in Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties.
