Amanda R. Burgess, a senior at Colby College in Waterville, was named to the dean’s list for her outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester. Burgess, the daughter of Arthur and Gail Burgess of Auburn, is majoring in religious studies and government. She attended Edward Little High School.

Wilkes University, in Wilkes-Barre, Penn., has announced that the following local students have earned dean’s list for the spring semester: Amanda Michaud and Kathryn Nadeau, both of Lewiston. Dean’s list students must obtain a minimum 3.4 grade point average and carry at least 12 credits.
